Mythological Life of People on the Holy Land

Hear about a rumour, hear about some Syndrome, hear about some people believe in that they are one of the characters from the bible, hear about some people who end up staying here for a very VERY long time. Feel lucky not belonging to any of the religions somehow, feel lucky not having a particular religion to believe in, knowing other people would put me in “Sin” box for it.

Talk to K about this syndrome. She says, “Yes, I knew a couple with a kid who were staying here for ages. The authority had to kick them out of the country in the end. I knew the girl, so I sometimes brought some food to them. Her husband had Jerusalem syndrome, I think, he worked in the youth hostel in the old city. ‘cause they run out of money, he worked there, they lived in a horrible tiny room at the youth hostel, I don’t know how they managed to live there. They didn’t do anything… I can’t do that.”
