Work in Progress

I represent Everything You Fear - Dedicated to Adrian Piper - Here Comes A Wicked Witch of East

Stencil
2006-present

Target 1
cont... Cycle a little more to find where not many people are on the street, cycle a little too close to the main street, cycle back to the small street.

Stop the bike, get off the bike, leave the bike against the wall. Try not to get nervous, try not to look at the CCTV camera, try doing this as quickly as possible, try doing this before someone comes. Spread the stencil on the pedestrian, take three coloured fluid from the rucksack, spray yellow on the flower, brown on the first and the third line, red on the second line.

Start to get out of breath, not sure why, try spraying the colour as quickly as possible. See the thick brown, red and yellow on the golden waxed paper, see the very clear text in three colours.... cont.

Target 2
cont... Already shot of breath, try to calm down, try doing it as fast as possible. Spray the colour on the stencil, yellow on the flowers, brown on the first and the third lines and red on the second line. See many shoes on the ground, see them next to the stencil. One of them say, “Sorry, I’m just being nosy…. Is it art?” I say nothing. The other one says, “Is it ketchup? What are you writing?” I say, “They are tomato ketchup, brown source and mustard.” They say, “Can we watch you doing?”

Keep spraying the colour, hear disgusting sound of the colour coming out, feel the heart beating fast, see the colour running out, see no more brown left, use as much as possible, use the last drip of it. .... cont.

Stencil

Target 3
cont..
. Hear the wind blowing past, even more panicky, see the colour all over the places, decide to stop, put all the bottles back into the bag. Lift the stencil, feel the weight, try not to have it blown into the face, see the mess on the ground, smell the redishbrownyellow, see something unreadable. Roll it in the newsprints, feel the wind taking a piss, try to roll it without too much mess. Put the roll back into the tube, see the redishbrownyellow on the tube, smell the redishbrownyellow on the hands.

Wipe the hands with newsprints, feel the cold on the fingers, smell the redishbrownyellow, decide not to bother about it. Put groves on, hold the tube on one hand as usual, start pushing the bike, not knowing if the body being hot or cold, not knowing if the wind being milder now than then... cont.
